The problem with 3D printing is that it’s often just used to make junk - articulated dragons and shelf-sitters that serve no purpose. I wanted to make things that did stuff. My first real projects weren't toys; they were replacement parts and accessories for my 30-year-old Miata. That was the turning point: realizing this technology wasn't just for novelties - it was for solving problems that traditional manufacturing couldn't touch.
The Form Factory Philosophy: That mindset is what built this project. I wanted a workspace organisation system that was modular, rugged, and adaptable. I didn't want to buy a "finished" product that I couldn't change. I wanted a system I could tinker with and expand.
How It Works: We don't sell furniture; we sell the capability. We utilize globally proven designs and manufacture the precision-engineered components - the joinery, the mounts, and the rails - right here in Cape Town.

Yes, the system has been tested up to 18kg with standard pine dowels and supports heavy setups, including ultrawide monitors and studio speakers. The structure is specifically engineered for rigidity.
If parts do not fit or you are unhappy, items can be shipped back to Cape Town within 7 days for a refund.
Shipping is handled via The Courier Guy, with orders typically arriving in major centers (CPT, JHB, DBN) within 2-4 business days.
Our products are engineered for durability, but accidents happen. If you break a component during installation or daily use, we will replace the specific part for free — you just cover the shipping. Contact us with a photo of the damaged component and your order number to initiate a replacement.
Yes, the System 01 features a universal mounting interface that makes all attachments fully interchangeable between the Desk Rail and the Desk Shelf. This modularity allows you to seamlessly migrate hardware like the MagSafe Anchor or Veld Notes Dock between perimeter mounting and surface elevation as your workflow requirements evolve.
The System 01 holders are precision-engineered for official Apple Gen 2 MagSafe chargers for both iPhone and Apple Watch. While aftermarket chargers with identical puck and plug dimensions should work, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit. The system is also compatible with non-iPhone devices or cases, provided they feature an integrated magnetic ring for secure anchoring.
