Stop working around your clutter. System 01 features a dual-rail design that lets you snap on headphone stands, phone mounts, and storage units exactly where you need them.
We stripped away the complications. The System 01 assembles in under 60 seconds using a precision friction-fit design.
// Materials: Solid wood dowels meeting high-grade local thermoplastic.
// Build: Engineered for rigidity and heavy gear loads.
// Origin: Printed, and hand-finished in Cape Town.

Elevate your monitor to eye level, tuck your peripherals away or display them proudly. System 01 creates the physical space you need for mental clarity.
If a part breaks, just send us a photo of the damage and how it happened (so we can learn) and we’ll print you a fresh one on the house. You handle the logistics (shipping), and we’ll handle the plastic.

Where do I get the wooden dowels?
You can pick up standard 22mm pine or hardwood dowels at Builders Warehouse, Timbercity, or most local hardware stores. We recommend checking the fit in-store if possible, as wood can swell with humidity. The Core Kit also includes 0.1mm shims for micro-adjustment
How long does shipping take?
We ship via The Courier Guy. Orders typically arrive in major centers (CPT, JHB, DBN) within 2-4 business days.
What is the return policy?
If the parts don't fit or you aren't happy, ship them back to us in Cape Town within 7 days for a refund. No stress.
Is it strong enough for my monitor?
Yes. It has been tested up to 18kg with standard pine dowels (hardwood should be able to support even more), so the system easily supports heavy setups, including ultrawide monitors and studio speakers. The structure is engineered for rigidity.
Will you really replace broken parts for free?
Absolutely! We know life happens - dogs chew things, gravity wins, and rage-quits occur. This does however only apply to printed parts and is subject to reasonable use. If you drive over it with your car 5 times, we might have to talk :)
The Spark: I bought my first 3D printer without a plan. I just wanted to see if the hype was real. But the first time I watched a digital file physically manifest on the print bed, it felt like magic. It was the closest thing I’d ever seen to an IRL replicator.
Functional, Not Frivolous: The problem with 3D printing is that it’s often just used to make junk - articulated dragons and shelf-sitters that serve no purpose. I wanted to make things that did stuff. My first real projects weren't toys; they were replacement parts and accessories for my 30-year-old Miata. That was the turning point: realizing this technology wasn't just for novelties — it was for solving problems that traditional manufacturing couldn't touch.
The Form Factory Philosophy: That mindset is what built this project. I wanted a desk system that was modular, rugged, and adaptable. I didn't want to buy a "finished" product that I couldn't change. I wanted a System.
How It Works: We don't sell furniture; we sell the capability. We utilize globally proven designs and manufacture the precision-engineered components — the joinery, the mounts, and the rails — right here in Cape Town.
We provide the "Smart Parts." You provide the wood. By separating the two, we keep shipping costs low and give you the freedom to build out your workspace to your exact specs. Whether you want pine, oak, or something exotic, our system provides the rigid framework to make it happen.
Our Promise
No junk: If it doesn’t solve a problem, we don't print it.
Local Manufacturing: Every part is printed and QC'd by me in the workshop.
Made to Use: This gear is built to live on a working desk, not just look good on Instagram.
